MathFest Village? Yes. for now.

SnowCone MathFest had a sequel. It was called SCMF Simulator. I worked on it from January 2026 -March 2026. Then I kind of switch gears back tot he original app, took a month off somehwere in there, and have since been practicing coding work with the latest higher powered thinking coding models. It’s fun, but these companies have a tendency to build a heavy paywall around actual work being done. I’ll admit. I’m spoiled now. I could still go back and move a little slower if needed. But there is no point. I just want my art, ideas, and music to move and groove. And right now they are.

I have a respectable opening UI with 3 game saves and a sandbox dev mode. dev tools in game. local weather if you want it. full seasons and time recognition. 9 mostly handdrawn characters, some with full merchant systems attached. cows system and flower system. a ridiculously robust chalkboard drawing system. full grampy P lectures on higher level math concepts. sun and moon lessons. recipes for every time of the day at the grill. It’s just growing and growing. I wish i could say i see an end in sight, but I know I’ll be tweakign this and adding for a while. Mostly due to the fact that I have to work in five hour windows now.

the data limit thing is insane and i totally get that I could just pay more money, but as mentioned in a previous post, I was working way faster when i knew I wouldn’t lose data usage by the third prompt.

oh well. I just work on art in between. the amount of trace work im doing is taking a long time. yea. I said it here. just so it was disclosed somethwere. I draw something, have AI fix it up, then i redraw it. it gives me full control still, but makes my art style much more appealing. I get that is a fine line, but I’m just having fun. I can change things and animate them way esaier once I have them fully drawn in my (dead) affinty 2 ipad software. I love this software. I’m not switching until i HAVE to. it works for my flow rn. that being said. I really need to get goin on sprite sheets. but it’s a headache i don’t have time for rn. I’d rather just try and reduce size of png.

The game is blowing up. getting better and actaulyl functioning like a game again. MathFest Village, for a second, was feeling terribly boring. I had everything up, but nothing was going on. now…we have ghosts again. we have jobs again. we will have math personalities eventually. butterflies. all sorts of stuff.

today I had to spend some time working on a barn issue and the pop up connection to a character named Bootsy.

It’s just so interesting where I end up spending my time. but man, I have so much more that I want to do. So I’ll just remember what I typed tonight:

Maybe I could….If I had a thousand dollars and the GPT pro subscription haha.
but honestly? I don’t even think that would do it. More access equals more creep. I just keep going. OH I HAVE THIS ABILITY NOW? LETS USE IT! I’m not sure if it is a trait or a flaw, but this Ai journey I have been on was all about putting this tool to use. and the reality is that they have to hide it from me/us. I doubt I’m the only one who just wants to use it because it’s there. I no I’m not the only one who sees this tool that can help leverage so many intentions that I was already enacting on a daily basis.

SnowCone MathFest has grown a ton in 2026. MathTips Village at the time of this writing is still just a semi broken chatbot. I liked him. but Grampy P just wasn’t shining past his opening screen. Soon, not sure when, but soon enough, Grampy will be chillin in MathFest Village for you to watch and click and explore along with him.

AFter this mode. I fix story mode. which honestly, is waaay better off than MathFest Village was. THen I work on the main truck. By 2027? not looking good. but I’m going to finish this game.

I did a party in january last year..maybe I do one this year too lol. release it again and agian but make it like an actual festival SnowCone MathFest. a winter festival…probably not lol

anyway.
