SCMF devLog: Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone success in 2026!

Start Your Year Off Weird ☃️🍧✨

I’m not built like a marketer.

I don’t really love the “announcement” energy, the constant posting, the hype cycle… all that stuff makes me want to crawl back into my cave and draw dinosaurs and write music in peace. What I do love is making things. Building weird little worlds. Turning ideas into something you can actually touch, play, or listen to.

And after a long stretch of late nights and messy experiments, SnowCone MathFest is officially out in the wild — in a bunch of different forms — and I’m genuinely grateful.

What’s out right now

SnowCone MathFest (iOS app — paid)
This is the most “official” version. If you buy it: thank you. Seriously. That support is real.

SnowCone MathFest (browser — free)
Same universe, same weirdness — accessible for anyone who just wants to jump in.

SnowCone MathFest Soundtrack (Spotify)
This whole project has always been part game, part music world. If you like the vibes, the soundtrack is there to live with you outside the app.

Promo video
If you want the quick taste of the mood.

Vinyl option
Still kind of surreal to even type that. But yeah — if you’re the kind of person who wants this thing on wax, it exists.

And my main site is the hub for everything — the home base.

A quick honest note about “support”

I put a free version out because I want people to experience it without friction. I’m proud of it, and I want it to be playable.

But if you buy the iOS version, or stream the music, or grab the vinyl… it genuinely helps keep the whole process alive. It’s not just “a purchase.” It’s fuel. It’s you saying, keep going.

So thank you.

The plan for 2026

This year, I’m trying to do this the healthy way.

That means better work-life balance and building in my free time, at a pace that doesn’t destroy me. I’m not disappearing — I’m just choosing steady creation over constant promotion.

Here’s what I want 2026 to look like:

  • Keep maintaining SnowCone MathFest, fixing what needs fixing, polishing where it matters
  • Add a little more over time (nothing insane — just honest expansions that fit the world)
  • Keep making music + art connected to the universe
  • Keep building the next things slowly, the right way, without burning out

I’m really proud this project exists in so many formats now. That was the dream: not perfection — presence. Something real people can play, hear, and share.

Thank you (for real)

To everyone who played, tested, gave feedback, sent a message, shared a link, or just told me “this is cool” when I needed it — thank you.

And to everyone who bought it: thank you for believing in a weird little creative project. You helped push it across the finish line and into the world.

Alright. That’s the post. That’s the moment.

Start your year off weird. 🍧🛸✨
