Hey folks!
Small edits tonight. I mean like letter by letter editing. frist to first. you to your, where appropriate. These are the little things, when making a story mode, that matter to me. I don’t want any immersion break excuses on my end. I’m checking for parsing, readability and overall enjoyment. If only for myself. I’m sure SOMEONE will play it…I would hope so. I’m not making it for me. But like…this story…is me…it’s every festival experience that I’ve had…well..not all of them. But flipping through these slides feels like more than testing where an advance button should be, it’s reliving moments that I’ve never forgotten. Some things get forgotten, others, just aren’t shared out loud and become…Secrets…
and with that segue!! <~~that’s spelled so weird lol
Check out my newest release on Soundcloud!
Okay..don’t get mad at me..this is not a “new” track. But it has a new purpose in SnowCone MathFest and has been completely remastered. The track fades in with a mysteriously edgy bass line that never really goes away. Just like that math secret you know and can never forget, this track will teach you a melody and then remind you that you knew the old one, turning them round and round until the secret pounds its way to truth. One of my dissonant guitar lines, I felt like this would be a really good Infinity Lake song. You know, as you’re practicing your math with the Infinity Triplets jamming on stage, they could bust out this magnum opus of groove on their turn tables and let the solo rip! I love this song. The solo rips, the bass groove is distorted and rips. The entire thing has great ebbs and flows; this song is the sine wave of composition that I’m always looking for and it found its way into SnowCone MathFest and said, “I have a secret: I belong here”🍧🌌
Secrets of Math
This is the sixth step in publishing all of the tracks from the SnowCone MathFest video game, releasing through JPS Grooves as a SnowCone MathFest SoundTrack album release! I always release on Soundcloud first, so go listen now!
P.S. Below is some early concept models for my “rambler” that I’ve worked into the game..I’ve definitely been where he’s been..but I’m not sure where he’s going..
