I woke up with the idea. Sketched it out.
📓 The notebook was honest — the direction was clear.
But the machine world? Nah man…
It wasn’t ready to obey yet.
🖥️ GitHub, Vite, VS Code — Remote Mode Chaos
I had a vision of syncing everything cleanly across devices.
Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Vite — my dream tools — weren’t playing nice in “remote mode.”
Once upon a time, pushing files directly to GitHub manually felt beautiful.
But that era’s over now. ❄️ I need mirrors. I need synchrony.
I need to open any laptop and drop into my project like it’s a pocket dimension.
I fought through:
- 🤯 Desynced folders
- 🧟 Ghost files that refused to leave
- ⚪ The dreaded white screen of Vite deploy death
- 🤬
node_modulespermission issues
But I didn’t back down.
🔁 Mirror Mode Activated
For the first time… I feel like my system’s tight.
📁 My iCloud folder is the truth
🧪 Local testing through npm run dev is the loop
☁️ GitHub is the cloud reflection
🚀 And when I’m ready: npm run deploy sets the site live.
I built the workflow of my dreams.
I don’t trust it yet. But I’m learning to.
🔍 The Day I Met My JSON File
I didn’t code new gameplay today.
But damn…
I spent three hours with my package.json and came out feeling like I earned a badge.
I didn’t just skim it —
I read it.
I questioned every line.
I added scripts. I locked versions. I pinned down who I want to be as a developer.
jsonCopyEdit"live": "npm run build && npm run deploy",
"reset": "sudo chown -R $USER node_modules && rm -rf dist node_modules package-lock.json && npm install",
"lint": "eslint . --fix"
These are my spells now.
And with Husky?
With lint-staged?
With git pushcone as my terminal alias??
Bro… I’m not just pushing commits.
I’m pushing legacy.
🤖 Patch the AI vs. JPS the Human
ChatGPT — aka Patch — tried to keep me simple.
But I didn’t want simple.
I wanted complex.
I wanted the engine room, not the paintbrush.
I told Patch: stop protecting me.
Let me crash. Let me learn.
And Patch delivered.
It gave me all the risky power tools… and I still have all my fingers.
🎶 TL;DR – Why I’m Doing This?
Because I’m building the math world I never knew I wanted.
A place where people can play, learn, unlock, and maybe hear some dope-ass music while they’re at it.
“Put a guitar in my hands, and I’ll solo Van Halen.
Put a pen in my hand, and I’ll write a biography.
Put a terminal in front of me…
…and tonight, I didn’t flinch.”
Coding finally started to feel like my element.
