I’m calling it.
Tonight, SnowCone MathFest hits v0.1 — not with fanfare or flashing lights, but with a quiet click of the final “Install App” label sliding into place under the SnowCone truck.
If you look at the app now, it doesn’t look that different.
And that’s exactly the point.
🎛️ What Changed (but you don’t see)
- Locked the entire menu layout to a real PNG map with CSS Grid — no hacks, no drifting.
- Introduced Central Data Management (CDMS) — XP, badges, story flags, the works.
- Built a clean Scene Manager to handle transitions between every game mode.
- Laid the groundwork for cross-mode high scores, scalable settings, user profiles.
- Oh, and that Install button? Yeah… it’s there. You probably won’t notice it unless your device can handle it. That’s intentional. Quiet magic.
🌀 Why It Matters
This was the vision all along — a night of coding where nothing looks like it changed, but everything beneath the surface is now scalable, modular, and future-ready.
SnowCone is no longer a rough concept. It’s infrastructure.
Everything is click-to-launch now. Everything listens.
And none of it is hard-coded mess anymore. We’re building this the right way.
🚧 What’s Next
The modes need work, yeah.
But the core is in.
Transitions are up next — visual polish to match the structural polish.
I’m sleepy.
But I’m also excited.
Because the cones still glow.
And this festival is only just beginning.
v0.1 is live.
v0.2 marches forward.
